Art of Autism – Present International Artwork, Five Films Exploring Autism

On November 4th and 5th of 2011, The Art of Autism presented the works of several international artists with Autism, including Esther Brokaw, Trevor Aycox, as well as students from the College Internship Program (CIP), at the Good Purpose Gallery. The Good Purpose Gallery is located at 40 Main St in Lee, Massachusetts.
On November 5th, the SEDF and the Art of Autism present five films exploring Autism.
Normal People Scare Me, a documentary by teenaged filmmaker Taylor Cross about autism which attempts to publicize the disorder in a new way.
The Sandwich Kid explore’s how having a disabled brother or sister affects those without disabilities.
ARTS is a documentary that examines how a number of men and women with disabilities — including author Temple Grandin, who suffers from autism — turn to painting, music and other art forms to enrich and improve their lives.
My Violin Cries is a short documentary about a woman’s journey through mournful emotions after the loss of her violin teacher and mentor.
Sidecars is a short film that explores this idea by documenting an unusual friendship between two extraordinary people. Free with suggested $5 donation.
