CIP announces a new art show coming to the walls of the Starving Artist Café in Lee, featuring the work of Adrienne Miesmer and Mary Lou Bradley, both of Tyringham, MA. The show will run from November 9 to January 16, 2024.
All are invited to a reception on Saturday, November 11th from 5pm to 7pm. Light refreshments and drinks will be served. A portion of all sales will be donated in support of CIP Berkshire.
Adrienne’s studio, Little Brook Pottery, specializes in decorated functional pottery. Plates, bowls, vases, platters and cups—each hand forged and individually painted—are inspired by an eclectic blend of ancient forms, contemporary design and even humor. Adrienne works with a variety of clay bodies and glaze applications, finished by electric kiln, Raku, or Saggar firings.
Mary Lou Bradley, founder of Gifts of a Feather, creates a variety of handmade natural fiber items for the home—bread baskets, bread bags, aprons, tote bags, bath and guest towels and more. The 100% linen and cotton fabrics in solids and florals are crafted for simple elegance with the intention of beautiful products that are meant to be used.
