Good Purpose Gallery presents the work of Artist Robert Schechter
July 31 – August 25, 2015

Lee, MA – A second opening reception for Robert Schechter’s show will be held on Friday, July 31st from 6-9pm at The Good Purpose Gallery located at 40 Main St, Lee, MA. There will be new works on display, as well as complimentary appetizers, wine, and music. Attendants will also be able to speak to the artist about his work.

Living and working in both New York City and Lenox MA, Robert Schechter has been creating unique works of art for most of his life. Over the years he has used a diverse assortment of mediums and materials to create fascinating works of art. From his vibrant oil paintings to his dynamic sculptures, every piece is an expression of emotion and energy.

According to Schechter, “My work is a search for and a vehicle for conveying meaning. Composition and materials are a journey into self and out into the world.”

Robert Schechter has 75 permanent works on display in several locations in New York City as well Berkshire County. His local pieces include two large monoprints currently on display at the entrance of the Berkshire Medical Arts building and a large, permanent sculpture displayed at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox MA.
